What is a Ceramic Coat?     
     We are Certified for ceramic installations.  Ceramic coatings are a multi-layer, hand applied, clear, liquid nano-ceramic product.  When cured it will transform into a durable and flexible permanent glass-like shield. It’s essentially an additional clear coat protection with three times the hardness and properties of a normal clear coat. A normal clear coat has roughly 2H to 4H hardness, once cured, Ceramic will measure up to 9H, making it far and away the hardest paint coating available anywhere.  The glass-like shield will make minor scratches a non-factor, and it will relentlessly preserve the vehicle's original factory paint.  We do not make claims of lifelong protection but if properly maintained, Ceramic can last many years and is far superior to a standard wax.  The cost of ceramic coating your vehicle will vary by package, size of vehicle and condition of existing paint.  We will help you make the best choice for your particular needs and never oversell.

What is Paint Correction?
​     You are not typically working with the paint.  You're working with the clear coat, a thin layer of clear "paint" that is applied to protect the color of your paint.  The clear coat gets scratched, marred, oxidized and is abused by all outside elements to protect your paint.  To revive your clear coat, you level it by shaving it down to the depth of the imperfections and making the surface completely flat again.  This process is done by sanding and machine polishing with many stages.  It can be very labor intensive.  After correction, the light won't reflect poorly off the clear coat and will create beautiful depth, clarity and shine.  A complete paint correction is not required but recommended prior to applying the ceramic coating.  We will evaluate your car in person to establish the proper amount of correction needed. The paint correction will remove 100% of the vehicles surface imperfections and pollutants to get the surface ready for application.  We will likely have your vehicle for multiple days and a no rush attitude is enforced as the application has to be done with the greatest of care.  All ceramic coating and paint correction services are estimated individually with pricing anywhere from $100 for enhancement - $2000+ for full correction.   

MYTHS ABOUT CERAMIC COATINGS:
- You won't have to wash your vehicle ever again.  Not true.
It will make the wash process substantially easier and the vehicle will stay cleaner longer but you will need to wash it and do it properly to preserve the life of the ceramic coating.  We offer proper wash services to ensure your coating is maximized.
 
- Ceramic coatings are permanent.  Not true.
Lots of companies claim permanent but nothing is.  All things break down eventually so permanent is a strong claim.  Ceramics will still provide the longest lasting most durable coating available on the market today.  With the right application and proper care, it can last for many years.

-Ceramic coatings peel off when they start to fail.  Not true.
When the ceramic coating starts to break down or wear out you will see a difference in luster and the way the water beads up, but it will not peel off.  It simply wears away like wax, but it takes a lot longer to do so.  There are 6 month, 2 year, 5 year and lifetime coatings available depending on the package you choose.

- Your vehicle is now scratch proof.  Not true.
Fine scratches appear anytime you touch the car.  Bad wash techniques, dirty rags, brushing the paint as you walk by, there's hundreds of ways scratches occur.  Proper maintenance and good washing techniques are vital for the life of the coating and we offer proper washing for all ceramic coated vehicles at our shop.  Fortunately, the coating is a sacrificial layer which helps protect the paint that can be removed and re applied as needed.
